Our skimmers use a two chamber vertical design.
The intake chamber filters the water and allows access to the debris net for easy cleaning.
The second chamber houses the pump for easy inspection and removal.
Pumps can be inspected or removed without removing mesh net or filter brushes!
Skimmer flange is attached using stainless hardware only. Using stainless hardware will prevent cross threading and leakage due to corrosion over time.
The skimmer flange is the easiest to attach and doesn't require precutting of the liner.
The skimmer flange is designed to make it easy to disguise the opening with rock. This makes our skimmers the most natural looking and easiest to hide!
Water Works Ponds skimmers are made via a rotomold manufacturing process results in a much stronger product than their injection molded counterparts.
The process has a number of design strengths, such as consistent wall thickness and strong outside corners that are virtually stress free. An invaluable feature when considering the harsh frost and temperature conditions of an Alberta winter.
Our skimmers include premium filter brushes. We have noticed a remarkable improvement of mechanical filtration by using these brushes over the traditional filter pads.
The one piece debris net is three times heavier than other manufacturers, and easier to clean.
